Only The Best
Despite being told to cut back on caffeine, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is still chugging coffee.
When asked in a new Rolling Stone interview how much coffee he’d had that day, Grohl replied, “Maybe six cups. A reasonable amount to get my day started.”
In 2009, the rocker was admitted to the hospital with chest pains and soon discovered it was because of the amount of caffeine he was drinking.
When the interviewer reminded him about the hospitalization and asked if he had plans to cut back, Grohl replied, “You realize you’re talking to someone that’s never done cocaine in his life. You can only imagine what would happen if I got my face in a pile of that s–t. We wouldn’t be on the phone right now. But after I got my diagnosis that I should decaffeinate, I tried decaf for, like, a week, and I came to the conclusion that decaf blows.”
The 49-year-old also opened up about trying to quit smoking.
